Cisco Networking Academy
The role of STC Training as a Regional Academy is to recruit, train and support local academies. At the moment there are three local academies, The University of Malta, MCAST and ETC. It also means that together with these local academies it can deliver the Networking Academy Program.

Formally launched in 1997, the Networking Academy Program is a comprehensive eight-semester course that teaches students to design, build, and maintain computer networks. Students are also prepared for industry standard certifications, including Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA™), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP™), and Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE™).

The Networking Academy program combines lectures and online learning with hands-on laboratory exercises in which students apply what they learn in class while working on actual networks. From basic to advanced networking skills, the Networking Academy curriculum prepares students for lifelong opportunities in the real world.

The Cisco Networking Academy Programme is at work in educational institutions all over the world, expanding students’ opportunities, enriching their educational experience, preparing them to succeed in the Internet Economy and facilitating increased accountability.
