Do you want to go behind the scenes, and check for yourself what goes into creating a site? Would you like to create your own website? Does a career in web design interest you?

The Web is increasingly becoming the publishing space in both commercial and personal fields. For many it is an indispensable multi-medial channel of information and communication in the commercial sector and a way of sharing information and building social networks in one's private life.

This course is centred on learning HTML, a text-formatting script that is responsible for the existence of the World Wide Web; Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for separation of form and content; Adobe Photoshop, the industry standard image editing program; Adobe Dreamweaver, used to facilitate web page building, and Adobe Flash to create proprietary animations and interactive banners.
