This Module Covers introduces the basic concepts and practical skills in computer programming using Java.
This Particular unit will prepare one Assignment which will need to be submitted towards the end of the module.
The Qualification is taught face-to-face, through lectures, tutorials, seminars and laboratory session, by NCC qualified tutors.
Upon completion of this module equivalent to 7.5 ECTS credits you are also able to complete your diploma in computing MQF Level 4. The whole diploma consists of 8 modules these are:
Skills for computing, Computer networks, Computer systems, Designing and developing a website, Databases, Designing and developing object-oriented computer programs, software development techniques, Office solutions Development
NCC Education is regulated by Ofqual (Office of the qualifications and examination regulator) to award the QCF Level 4 Diploma in Computing in England. The official name on the certificate will be NCC Diploma in Computing (MQF level 5).
Age Group: 16+
Lectures, hands on practice & workshops
6 O'levels. Mature students are accepted on their own merits.

Ing. Clifford De Raffaele was conferred a first-class electrical engineering degree and MSc in ICT from the University of Malta.
The ICCS qualification or a minimum of 6 O’levels to enroll on the IDCS. To start the BSc 2nd year students must have successfully completed the IDCS or an equivalent qualification. Only students who complete all BSc 2nd year modules can move on to the final year of the Middlesex University BSc.
Since short courses are normally beginners courses most do not have specific entry requirements. With regards to the programming short courses a basic understanding of this field is recommended. A good level of English is essential.
IT Professional Courses
Entry requirements for these courses depend on the course in question. Normally those who apply for such courses have a number of years of work experience within management or IT.
If you do not have the necessary requirement we also provide you with foundation courses that will provide you with the entry requirement for your diplomas.
